Our mission is to inspire hope and contribute to the well-being and health of people with physical and intellectual disabilities. We support families by offering training and resources, and technical solutions. We provide education, and ongoing research to improve the quality of life for those we serve. As well as providing evidence-based care, we provide health literacy training to the disabled in rural communities to reduce avoidable hospitalizations.

what will we do with the funds?

To give families and caregivers the training and resources that they need. With the grant funds, we will be able to provide online and in-person training to all new families and caregivers. A key component of these efforts will be our partnership with caring communities. Through this platform, we will offer online training programs as well as a guidebook for training new personnel. Through our partnership with MAGIC, we will implement adaptive devices that will detect seizure activity and sleep apnea. By providing safe and effective care, hospitalizations can be reduced, outcomes can be improved, and further integration into society can be achieved. All metrics will require ongoing monitoring and dissemination of data through the Nurselynx platform.
